The programme attended by Bajrang Lal also had the presence of other senior officers/personnel of the Unit and prominent persons/people of said area including secretary/members of the village/institute/clubs. In the 3rd CAP organised on Saturday at Keishamthong, football and volleyball items were distributed to the team of Dania Football Club of Keishamthong Hodam Leirak, the commandant informed. In another CAP organised at Poirei Nawakon, Koirengei (Children Home) under Heingang PS, solar street lights were installed with panel at the required places, the commandant informed and expressed hope that the initiative will be a great help to the children for running their routine activities even at the time of power cut. In a release, 69 Battalion commandant Bajrang Lal assured that on completion of the training programme 23 foot operated sewing machines will be distributed to the poor women in a befitting ceremony.

Under the aegis of CRPF Manipur & Nagaland Sector IGP, 69 Battalion CRPF organised a civic action programme at Loitang Leikinthabi village under Heingang police station in Imphal East district during which a month long training programme for tailoring for 23 needy women was conducted to generate self-employment as well as to make them self-reliant.
